1. Introduction

Welcome to CubeXpert (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with your use of the CubeXpert mobile application (“App”). By installing or using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1) Data Collected by the App

CubeXpert does not collect or store personally identifiable information (PII) about you through the core app features (e.g., manual cube input, scramble generation, lessons, timing statistics stored locally on your device).

We do not require sign-in, user accounts, or backend server storage. All user timing statistics and local performance history are stored locally on the device and are not transmitted to external servers by us.

2.2) Data Collected Automatically by AdMob

To support advertising within the App, we use Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. The AdMob SDK may automatically collect certain device and usage information, including but not limited to:

• Device identifiers such as Android Advertising ID (AAID)
• IP address (used to estimate approximate location)
• Basic device and app interaction information (e.g., app launches, ad impressions, clicks)
• Diagnostic and performance data

3. How We Use Information

3.1) For App Functionality

We use the information provided directly by you within the App solely to enable core functionality such as solving algorithms, scramble generation, cube input, lesson access, and local statistics.

3.2) For Advertising

Data collected via AdMob is used for:

• Serving relevant advertisements within the App
• Measuring ad performance
• Providing personalized ad experiences (if enabled)

We do not share personally identifiable information with these services beyond what is described here.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share data with the following third parties:

• Google AdMob and its advertising partners — for the purpose of serving ads and delivering advertising features. These third parties may collect or infer information about your device and usage for ad personalization and analytics.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Local Storage of Statistics

CubeXpert stores user performance timing and statistics locally on your device. This data remains on your device unless you deliberately uninstall the App or clear its local storage. We do not transmit this information to any backend servers or third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

CubeXpert is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided information through this App, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps to remove such information.

7. Your Choices and Controls

7.1) Advertising ID Settings

You may opt out of personalized advertising on Android by accessing your device settings → Google → Ads → Opt-out of Ads Personalization. This setting applies to advertising across apps that use the Advertising ID. CubeXpert does not have access to, nor does it store, the Advertising ID; this data is handled directly by Google AdMob.

7.2) Local Data

You can delete any locally stored statistics (timing history) by clearing the App data via your device settings.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect user information collected, stored, or processed by the App. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.

9. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
